Hi @Getz_Pro , thanks for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback!
We do have some existing threads for some of these requests already. We have also created new threads for the new requests, this helps us to follow-up on each request once we have any updates. Feel free to vote for them below and create separate threads when you have any ideas Thanks again!
Hello everyone
recently the wish for an overview of all forms currently in use in our organization has come up.
It would be amazing if we had a “Forms” section in the sidebar for example. Maybe even with the ability to turn that section on or off for each individual user, though that wouldn’t really be necessary.
Thanks!

My team is trying to implement a Content Request Form using Asana. We would like to connect our task fields to the questions on the form. However, task fields are limited to date, number, or text.
Our form has several questions that have multi-select options, so we are unable to connect them to a field, causing manual work. Is there a way to create a task field that will display multi-select options?
For instance, we need someone completing our form to be able to select several “communication…
Multiple Forms per Project
Each of our projects have multiple things we could use a form for - only being able to do a single form for an entire project drops the utility of this tool from almost-immeasurable to cute-but-basically-useless. We would like to have different forms for entering notes during different kinds of meetings. A form for creative briefs at the start of the project. A form for gathering information from a client. A different form for gathering other kinds of information from…
Has there been any consideration to increasing the current limit of 20 rules per project?
The ability to link form elements in a workflow like we do dependancies in Timeline. Click and drag a link from one element to the next such as the Yes option drags to a branch. I think seeing the form as like a Gantt or flow chart would be easier to build. This will also give me the ability to set up blocks of questions and move requestors back and forth in the process.
Instead of one large flowing form, the ability to parse out into section that you move to via a Next button. Just a cleaner, more modern way of offering forms.
The ability to gate a form. If requestor doesn’t select certain options, the submit button is not available to them. Currently we can have Yes/No as a question and Yes can branch to the other options, however, No is still a valid option and the form will submit.
Ability to change the field (question) without destroying the current data. Single line text to paragraph. Single select to multi-select.
Date / Time Field
Ability to set a time as we do in the task.
The ability to have a field that you can enter both Start and End time
Ability to have a date range as you do in a task
I was wondering if auser can edit the form field text that displays by default in Asana forms. For example, see [Screenshot 2020-06-15 16.41.18]
We’d like to edit the text “Enter your answer” in the form field to some other line of text. I don’t see an option to do this, but am posting here to make sure I am not missing anything. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Is there a way to brand the automated emails that it will send to the person who inputted the request via the form? Right now it sends them a recap, but it’s a little clunky for an external user to get it.
Ideally, we would like to have our logo and some design capabilities over the email. Is this possible, even through a third-party or developer feature?
We are using forms for standardization of our intake process. Is there a way to change the number format on the form itself? For example, we are trying to enter $100,000 but it can only be entered as 100000 right now. Is there a way to fix this? We know if we link it to a custom field the format will be correct after it is submitted, but we would like this fixed to avoid human error when inputting.
Thanks!
