Slack integration features on Subtask level

Tl;dr: Slack integration Rules only work on the Task level, and we wish they also worked on the Subtask level.
We enjoy using Asana to assign translation projects to a large of translators. Slack is our company’s main communication tool, but Asana gives us a place to post each project as a Task. We add Subtasks with deadlines and individual assignees, providing a shared place for translators & proofreaders in many languages to access the project’s material. It also gives the translators something to mark when their work is completed. Many Tasks have 50+ Subtasks, depending on the number of languages we are translating into.
It would be great if the Rules features for notifications could work at the Subtask level. E.g. I want the translator and me to get a Slack ping when the Subtask deadline is reached and it is not Completed. I don’t want to hassle the other 49 translators who delivered on time.

Hi @Clark_Munson, welcome to the Asana Community Forum and thanks for taking the time to share this feedback with us!

As it stands, rules only apply to subtasks that are added to the project: How to Use Asana subtasks | Product guide • Asana Product Guide. If you associate the subtasks to the the project, all rules will also apply to subtasks and you can receive notifications in Slack.
