Feature Request - Attach subtask to multiple tasks

Asana is close to perfect. So close. It just lacks one feature. The ability to attach subtasks to multiple tasks. By adding this feature it allows you to structure teams ahead of time (hiring) outline all tasks cascading from a leader to the team and update the task once across the entire team. Please add this feature. You are so close to perfection.

Hello @Christopher_Bartlett welcome to the Asana Community

Have a look here: Add "Create subtask" as an Action for Rules - #8

This is an awesome new feature and should help with what you are trying to achieve

There are various ways a solution could be set up for your tasks. Here is what I am thinking of:

Option 1:
All your tasks that need the subtasks added are multihomed. If the relevant tasks are in various projects you can use advanced search for example, then display all the tasks in list view, multi-select and add the other project in bulk.

This will then mean in the new project you only have to set up the rule one time

So for example the rule could be that when a task is added to a specific project or section within the new project the subtasks you want are added automatically.

Option 2: You just set up the rule in every project you need it in.

The rule could for example also be set up in a way that it only triggers when a specific option in a drop down is selected.

Hope that helps
