Has this rolled out already? We don’t see it in our organization. We have it activated on the admin console.

@Esteban_Giannini,

Yes, it’s been released (for all paid plans) but may still be in the process of rolling out to every workspace/organization.

Thanks,

Larry

@Esteban_Giannini
It appears that confirmation is also required here.
(Unfortunately, Asana_AI has not yet been implemented in my organization.)

great! I can’t wait to try this!

Does this feature support:

  1. all languages
  2. languages in which Asana has an interface
  3. only English

?

It was written somewhere that “Initially, it will be conducted in English and subsequently in various languages.”

The information is written here.

Thanks. If it’s still valid information, it would be great if such was included in posts/messages like this thread - as a date on the roadmap.

Can you point me to where there are any updates to the Terms of Use to include AI specific changes as a result of these product changes? Don’t see anything published to that effect on the terms page or the AI introduction webpage.

Welcome, @Rachel_Delaney,

I think you’ll find that in this post or within the links included there:

Thanks,

Larry

Are any of you finding the new AI features useful? I am not. I have used the Summarize task and create subtasks several times, and I find it a bit useless at this time. It seems to be generating some incorrect info, a lot of fluff, and no context. I’d love to hear what you all are using it for.

@Erjon_Metohu,

In case you hadn’t already seen it, here’s my take:

Thanks,

Larry

Thanks @lpb! I had not seen your post.

Hi everyone,

Today, I’m excited to announce we have started rolling out our next set of AI features: Smart status and Smart answers on projects!

Does this mean that these new features are not available to customers who for the moment are remaining in existing Premium, Business, and Enterprise plans?

Thanks,

Larry

I would appreciate it if you could make it possible to use the current plan.
(As there are still a few months until the next contract renewal.)

Hi Emily,

The Asana Guide explicitly says here of all of the AI features:

we will offer these capabilities to customers on both the old and new pricing plans.

so can you confirm that the Guide article is incorrect and Smart Status and Smart Answers are not available to the “old” subscription plans? Thanks!

I hope this is just a mixup.

If these features were not available to all of Asana’s existing paying customers, that would be a real penalty against them to provide the features to brand new customers but not to them. And for many it would mean a harsh choice, either 1) do without these new features whereas new users get them, or 2) upgrade to the new replacement plan and be subject to various limits that they otherwise could have waited until sometime in 2025 to be subject to.

Thanks,

Larry

Hi @lpb and @Ka_Nishiyama,
I had the same question for my personal organization and I wanted to use the new AI features without waiting until 2025, so I checked with the sales team. If you subscribe to an Asana plan yourself (not through agency or sales), the following steps might help. Otherwise, you might need to contact sales or support for help.

  1. Click “Upgrade” on top-right in the product
  2. On the interstitial page (app.asana.com/0/billing/pricing), there’s an option to switch to the new plan
  3. We can switch plans with no additional cost

As far as I checked yesterday, we cannot move to the new plan from admin console. I’ll report internally to make it possible (update: admin console wasn’t changed):
