Use-case: Create a complete form in one prompt
Feature: Create (project) with Asana AI
The problem
Building a form in Asana usually requires multiple manual steps: creating a project, adding custom fields, configuring the form, mapping questions to fields, and organizing sections. For complex intake forms with many questions, this can take significant time.
The shortcut
“Create with Asana AI” was designed to create project, but you can also use-it to create the pormpt associated to the project. You can describe the form you need in a single prompt, and AI will generate the entire setup in one go:
- A new project with relevant sections
- Custom fields matching your form questions (dropdowns, text, dates, etc.)
- A ready-to-use form with all questions mapped to the right fields
Example prompt
“Create a project to collect IT support requests with a form. The form should ask for: the requester’s name, department (dropdown: Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance, HR, Other), type of issue (dropdown: Hardware, Software, Access, Network, Other), priority level (Low, Medium, High, Urgent), and a description of the issue.”
