Update tasks already created in the past

I have project with dozens of tasks already created, but I need to modify them. Can I apply a rule in order to automatically update these old tasks?

do you want to perform the same edits for every task or you want to make specific changes for every task?

Apologies if there is a way to do this but my google-fu has failed thus far. It would be great if importing could use unique identifiers (such as the Asana assigned Task ID) to match to existing tasks and update/add/overwrite fields associated with that task. From my current testing it duplicates tasks rather than updating them, which makes sense given that many use-cases may have tasks which require duplicate names so maybe an option to match or not to match? I need to edit the name of 100 already existing tasks. I know it’s possible to change task’s name using Flowsana, but I need to this for old tasks inside a project, and not for tasks that will be created in the future
