An employee in our organization was terminated and he was removed from our team in Asana. Now, I’m finding myself unable to delete or archive projects created by this team member. What is the workaround for this?
Hi @Brent_Watkins, welcome to the Asana Community Forum!
If you removed the user, the private projects were this user was the only member will become inaccessible. I recommend you to contact our support team as they will be able to investigate this further. Unfortunately I don’t have the tools in the forum to see what are the project’s permissions.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Are you kidding me? This is ridiculous. As an admin I should be able to have complete access to all projects.
Brent
This is what I thought too, but not the case. Also if any person creates a project, marks it as private, you will not be able to see it
I am not sure however is some external tool can pull all projects from the API, so you can at least see them, but you will still have to chase Asana / employees for access. @Bastien_Siebman one of your tools maybe?
My tool only shows what your user is allowed to see…
What about the CEO’s project about replacing his current admin? #sarcasm
It is a real concern in some bigger and more strict organizations, that there should be nothing hidden or left without any access if someone leaves. Not good for business continuity
