Hmm tasks I add from Outlook end up in my “Personal Tasks” and not my organization inbox as a new task… is this the expected behaviour?
Emails sent to x@mail.asana.com do end up in my organization inbox as expected
Hi @Mike_Hoefer
You should be able to choose in which space you want to create your task by clicking on the little cog icon in the top right corner of your screen top open Settings:
And then using the drop-down menu to select your space:
Hope this helps!
Thanks, I got it working!
Well played @Mike_Hoefer Thanks for keeping me posted!
Hi. The problem for me is this bit:
I would like all email coming in to be created as a task. And when I enter a comment for it to go to the person who sent the email, and when they reply it comes back in as a comment.
Thanks
@Laurence_Cope That type of functionality may be best handled by a third party integration like Microsoft’s Apps or Flow, Zapier, or Tray.io. They could handle a workflow that you describe fairly easily. If you want a custom integration or workflow then you would need to get with someone like @Bastien_Siebman.

@Marie I wanted to leave general feedback about the integration, but it seems the original announcement is closed for replies, fyi. (Turn emails into action with Asana for Outlook - #26 by Ruth_Newnham)
Just wanted to say I love the integration. Specifically because it adds more control rather than simply forwarding the email to Asana. I can uncheck the attachments I don’t want in the task and it saves several steps too.

It would be nice if this add in let you add followers.
