I have recently noticed that emails I have flagged in Outlook for a folloup, has also been created as a task i Asana on that specific date. Not sure why and how.
Cant remember I have changed anything .
Any clues/suggestions?
That’s interesting… Are you using the Outlook plugin that allows you to add tasks from Outlook to Asana?
I just tried this (as I normally never flag for follow up) and it doesn’t happen for me. (if it pops up later I’ll circle back)
It doesn’t sound like something that should happen without an automation/integration of some kind like with PowerAutomate or Zapier or the like…

@Rune_Haarberg - to my knowledge, this is not a native part of the asana outlook plugin. This is possible, but only with a custom automation (Zapier, Make, or custom-hosted code), and I doubt you would have set one up and not remembered it.
I’d recommend testing your assumptions by choosing one additional outlook e-mail, flagging it for follow up, and then seeing live if it follows the same behavior.
