Sending Mails via Rule in Asana Project doesn't work.

I am using Braintoss to capture important information. I recently use Asana as a management tool and would love to keep using Braintoss to capture important stuff.

What I did was create a rule that would send all the emails that I have into my Asana inbox.

It worked in the beginning but now unfortunately I am getting this Error Message when I do this:

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

x+12062203096@mail.asana.com (x+120623096@mail.asana.com)
Your message wasn’t delivered because the recipient’s email provider rejected it.

Does anyone have an idea how I can make it work again?

I have seen occurrences of Asana rejecting email with various messages over the past 5 years or so. I myself spent a lot of time working through one of these situations, years ago, with an error message somewhat similar to yours. The ultimate, fragile solution had to do with some truly arcane, low-level details as to how our corporate email was handled.

There may be clues below as to various failure modes that might be affecting you, but unfortunately I don’t know of a silver bullet.

Good luck!

Hi everyone

I found the solution myself.

The problem was not on the side of Asana but on my side with the admin Settings of our Microsoft 365 and Outlook environment.

The Microsoft Security Environment can make it so, that it blocks you from automatically forwarding

emails.

Here is the Link to the page that lead my to the solution.

In my case I had to go to this security center and had to edit the anti-spam outbound policy: Put the Automatic forwarding rules to „On - Forwarding is enabled“.

Here is the link to the security Center:
