My department has on-going projects with new sections added weekly. When a section is done, we collapse the section and “Save view", which usually would stay collapsed even after refreshing the page or coming back to the project later.
However, this week I’ve noticed all sections in these projects are open. Even if I go through and manually collapse them and save view, they will all reopen if I refresh or come back to the project.
Was there an update that’s causing this bug? We have not changed anything in these projects, and having all sections open makes loading slow and difficult to go back to previous sections.
Hi everyone, we’ve checked with our Developers and confirmed that there’s currently a system limit where only 100 sections can be saved in a collapsed state. If a project has more than 100 sections, the collapsed state beyond that number won’t be saved.
The team is considering increasing this limit in the future, but there’s no ETA yet.
As a workaround, you can use the “Collapse all” option to collapse all sections at once, then expand up to 100 individual sections as needed. The system will remember your selections (up to the 100 limit):
I’m having the same issue with sections not staying collapsed, even after saving the view multiple times. I’m not sure if it’s related to having 100 sections, because I tried collapsing some sections while leaving others open, and it still reverted to having ALL sections being expanded. Seems like a bug, because my team never ran into this issue before.
