I’m a Project Manager at my organization, and I have a graphic design form set up for people to fill out when requesting graphics. I’m trying to set up a rule that automates the process of letting them know when their request has been approved or denied.
What I’ve done so far is set up a single-select custom field called “PM Approval” with “Approved” and “Denied” as the options. I have the rule set up to send the form submitter an email, with the content of the email depending on which option the PM Approval field is set to. However, no matter how many tests I run, I can’t get the rule to get triggered. I update the PM Approval field for the task created by the form submission, but the rule doesn’t run.
I’ve attached a screenshot of how it’s currently set up. Can anyone help me understand why the rule isn’t getting triggered or if there’s a different way I should have it set up?
