Reminders at a specific time

Hello folks,

a customer asked me if Asana can do this:

The customer will place an appointment in 1 year from now and he wants to get a reminder specificly 6 months before the appointment. Is this possible with Asana free for a small team of devs?

I do not think you can do this in Asana.

I can think of two things.

  1. If your customer is added as a guest, you can create a sub-task that will show in their feed on the date you want the reminder

  2. I think you can create a Zap - Todays Date, calculate due date minus 6 months. When today equals due date minus 6 months - send an email.

I agree with both options shared by @IvanStaykov! If you are interested, you can also have a look at this integration: New reminder integration: RemindoBot - now in beta!. It was not developed by Asana but you can ask questions to the creator in that thread :slight_smile:
