Include the custom fields effort from subtask in Workload Portfolio view

Continuing the discussion from You can now see and action subtasks directly from your Project task list!: do you have any plans to implement possibility to include subtasks custom fields to total effort from specific user on Workload view?

We’re using the Workload and custom field for hourly estimates, and on Workload view we only see the total hours from top-level tasks without subtasks.

As it stands, subtasks don’t inherit the project and for this reason they don’t appear in Portfolio or Workload. As a workaround, you can add the subtasks to the project following these steps: Help with Asana subtasks | Product guide • Asana Product Guide . I’m afraid I don’t have updates on when subtasks will automatically appear in Portfolio and Workload but we will update this thread Ability to view assigned SUBTASKS in Portfolio>Workload as soon as we have any news!
