I have a team of six, and our free trial has ended but now we can’t get access to our workspace as the “Free Trial Ended” Sign appears and it doesn’t disappear unless we subscribe. Though we don’t need any premium feature than the ones provided with the free plan.
How can we get our workspace back and continue with the free plan?
It worked, but all of the projects use premium features, so instead of ASANA only removing the premium features and giving me access to my projects, it locked them up. So nothing really changed, still can’t access my workspace.
I’ve had the same problem within my organisation - free trial expired, and now despite us going back to the free tier, we’re locked out of multiple critical projects and tasks that we are working on.
Even tasks on my personal to do list are locked out behind a paywall. In my case, it seems to be the custom fields feature which is causing it, but I can’t edit the custom fields to remove them without paying for a subscription. Infuriating is an understatement!
Hi @Rafeef, sorry for the delay! Have you reached out to our Sales team yet? They will be able to give you a trial extension so that you can remove the paid features and continue with the Personal free version. If you run into issues contacting Sales, let me know!
Same here. I reached out to the sales team several times for a quick extension through a web form but 1) there is no acknowledgement anyone has received anything apart from automatic Thank you message 2) no reply 48 hours + later.
It is rather strange that I can’t remove the features without signing up for advanced (its like 3 custom fields I experimented with and not using). It does seem like a tactic to get you to get on the paid version for at least a month which was almost ok with until I saw that their plan for “Individuals” requires minimum 2 seats, so essentially I have to pay double to do that. I guess, I will have to rethink what an individual means! I just couldn’t get myself to click Pay for such a small little thing that can and should be fixed easily.
Anyway, that is my Personal account. I question if I should recommend adopting Asana for business. It shouldn’t be a controversial idea that customers don’t like surprises unless they are good ones. This is not one of those.
Hi @Andrean_Georgiev, I’m really sorry you haven’t heard back from our Sales team yet. I’ve escalated this internally so they can check the status of your request, and someone will be in touch with you shortly.
