The editing and updating functionality within the Project Templates list view is not as extensive as within a Project list view.
An example of this lack of functionality is the inability to expand all subtasks within a Project Template, thus forcing you to click into each subtask individually to make edits.
The lack of full functionality within the Project Templates list view makes it very time-consuming to keep templates updated when changes are required.

I fully agree, and was about to create this exact topic.
Not only is it very time consuming, the lack of this functionality also makes it very unclear which tasks in a project template have subtasks to start with.
Not to mention the frustration it gives when you’ve converted a project into a template, realised you forgot to remove yourself from tasks and subtasks as a collaborator, and are mitigating the flood of notifications you’re getting because of this.
I took the liberty of modifying the title for clarity. If you have other requests, it’s probably better create separate feedback threads for this.
I feel this is an example of why I’m advocating for: Make live projects, project templates, and my tasks variations of the same class

Please add the ability to see subtasks in the Project Template list view!!! It is very time consuming to try and build a template when i can’t see if the subtasks are there or not.
