Subtasks not showing when editing a Project Template

I have a Project Template created and when editing the template, I’m not able to see the subtasks I’ve created under a task, let alone edit them. When I click on the task details I can see the subtask dependencies shown, but no way to access them (I ultimately want to change the default assignee on creation).
NOTE: For testing purposes, I went ahead and created a testing project based off of this template, and the subtasks are there. I’m just tired of changing the default assignee every time I use this template…

Yes! Not sure how I missed that. Maybe because the UI has a large negative space gap and doesn’t indicate that there is more below. Thanks for the help!

Consider voting for one or both of these:

Size of the empty task description field (What is this task about?)

This is a short and easy one, I hope. For a while now the task description field has gotten very big, so big that even if the field is empty you have to unnecessarily scroll down to get to the subtasks. As long as the field is empty, I would rather have 1-2 rows big and then underneath the subtasks, already partly visible. As the description gets bigger, so should the field itself increase in size, but it shouldn’t be that big when empty. Is this perhaps something of interest for future enhanc…

Collapsible Description Box

Is there any way the Description text box can be made collapsible? Sometimes we have a very long description and the sub-tasks get missed. Or maybe even have the sub-tasks listed above the description - as well as any attachments and Projects the task is tied to. It would also allow for less scrolling when trying to get to the comments at the bottom.
