I have a template task. I updated its subtasks but then when I went to create a new task based off that templates, the subtasks were still using the old list of subtasks. I then deleted the template task and recreated it. But now when I go to create a new task, I see both the old template task and the new one.
I’m now trying to look for the old template task using advanced search and I can see the one that hasn’t been deleted, but I cannot find the one thats been deleted. It’s really starting to make a mess of things.
How do I find the deleted template task so I can permanantly remove it from the list of task templates when creating a new task?
I have also tried doing an advances search for all deleted tasks for today and nothing is showing up. Even when I create a general test task and delete it, not even that will show up.
I see where I got confused. I created these template tasks in project A. Then I created a project B board to consolidate them all and not clutter up my project A board. When I then tried to update and clean up my template tasks I was trying to manage them in my project B board and they were not in Customize > Task Templates when I needed to go back to my project A board. Now I see them all under Customize > Task templates.
Hopefully that wasn’t too confusing on how I got confused lol
