Filter projects by multiple fields (including custom) and save different filter views.

The new project header allows for more visible controls for viewing, sorting, and filtering tasks, adding custom fields, and viewing project activity. However currently only 1 view can be saved as the default layout. It would very helpful to be able to save multiple filter views (each with their own URL for bookmarking).

Create a different structure for board view and list view

I would like to be able to set up my board view with columns that represent the status of the task, ie in progress, complete, etc. Then, on the the list view and the timeline view, I would like to be able to organize the tasks by work stream, ie content writing, visual design, front-end development. Currently you can only organize one way or another for all views. Being able to switch between organizational views would be spectacular.

Tie custom field to board columns

I have a scrum board where I sync tasks with my team. The board has columns like “todo”, “in progress”, “done”, etc. The board works well, and it is easy to move tasks between columns. But, these tasks also exist in other boards. Especially, they are in the company board, which has its own groups and columns. I need a way to reflect the task status across different boards. We have a custom field of “status”, but I cannot tell Asana to automatically update it when I move tasks between columns. …
