AI-powered rules: Intelligent task naming made easy!

Hi Asana community,

Welcome to our new series of posts featuring AI Studio tips to help you streamline your workflows!

In our first post, we’re thrilled to introduce one of our new pre-built AI-powered rules to automatically name your tasks based on their descriptions. This AI rule is perfect for:

  1. Form intake automation
  2. Standardizing task naming conventions
  3. Saving time on manual task organization
  4. Ensuring clear, descriptive task titles

Imagine having all your incoming tasks automatically renamed to reflect their actual content—no more generic ‘New Task’ or ‘Form Response’ titles!

Tell us: have you ever run into a task title so vague you weren’t sure if you needed context, clues… or a crystal ball? :mag:

This is great, but I’m finding trouble implementing a rule across projects and also I would love this to work as a rule where I had a follow up to ask the name of the original task and the follow task for sub tasks couldn’t be some thing done at the Asana level and not something that needs to use for us?

Hi @Sam_Gould, we are happy to help you fix any issues! Could you share more about the AI-powered rule you are trying to create? It would be helpful to see a screenshot of what you are trying to achieve so we cans share some tips (please hide any personal information).
