I have seen complaints in this thread but not an actual product request, so this is my request.
I’m the sys admin at my company so I manage 98% of our software (including Asana) and I would love the ability to archive abandoned projects that I am not in.
As an example I have a team with 102 open projects where at least 60 are expired, completed, abandoned, or just created and never started.
I would love a separate permission or role that allows any person with that permission to archive any project in the tenant.
As an example I’m the global admin in our Microsoft tenant but the accounting team has billing admin access, or I could granularly give someone help desk admin which only allows resetting passwords for people.
If this request does exist somewhere already please link me in.
thx
Still a problem all this time later. It makes ZERO sense that Super Admins do not have FULL ACCESS to all projects in their company somewhere/somehow! FIX THIS ASANA!!!
@J.C (and anyone else coming to this thread) - this is now possible with work access mode for enterprise customers. @Forum-team - could you close this one out and mark it as launched?
Stephen, this is NOT a solution for those of us without an Enterprise account!
Our company already spends over $10k/year with Asana for our Business account, we should not be held hostage for this kind of basic functionality without upgrading.
@Forum-team - do NOT close this one out until the functionality is in place up for Business accounts too!
Hi @J.C, thanks for reaching out and sharing your feedback with us. As @Stephen_Li kindly shared, this option is already available with Work Access Mode. I understand you wish this feature was available to lower tiers such as Advanced, so I’ve gone ahead and updated the title to address this request as well so we can keep it open. Please note we don’t have plans to launch work access mode to Starter or Advanced tiers but we will follow up on this thread if this changes in the future.
Thanks again for your feedback, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team if you need help accessing your projects!
@Emily_Roman our org. is on an “Asana Business” account. Yes, it’s probably an old type of account, we’ve been with you guys for some time. That’s why this is even more of a slap in the face that we’re being shut out of these features.
