Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing: A project that one of our team created can no longer be accessed by anyone - it’s archived and can be viewed but is comment only and no one is able to unarchive it.
Sounds like someone who left your Organisation created this project. Our support team can help you gain access to this project so you can delete it from your end! You can reach out to them following these steps: https://forum.asana.com/t/how-do-i-contact-support/19057/7?u=marie
Hope this helps, but let me know if you ahve any follow-up questions!
Hi @Marie - I’m dealing with the same issue that Nathaniel described above, but the link you provided in your response is now resulting in a 404. Do I need to reach out to support for every single project that is owned by someone who’s left the company? Is there no global setting to allow this for admins or superadmins in an org?
As for your question regarding multiple projects, I believe the best course of action is be as descriptive as possible when filling out your ticket. I am not sure if there is a “global setting” for admins/superadmins, but it is worth a shot to express your problem fully to support.
Thanks, Mike! I stumbled around and figured out how to submit the ticket eventually
It’s super inefficient to have to reach out every time I find one, as we have a huge org. Because I don’t have any edit access at all to these, I can’t even add a tag, edit the title, or throw them into a dedicated project or portfolio to deal with all at once later. I can’t imagine I’m the only one rolling my eyes a bit at this.
Hoping support can deal with these relatively efficiently as I kick them over the fence
