Created a Project, Lost Access the Next Day – Seeking Solutions

Hello! Yesterday I created a portfolio and then created a new project, private only to myself, and added it to the portfolio. Today I cannot find the project I created. When I go to the portfolio, it says “This portfolio contains 1 project or portfolio you don’t have access to.” I clicked “view all” (see screenshot below), and it told me I had to request access.

This has happened before where my projects suddenly disappeared and when I requested access, nobody in my organization received anything to give access.

I have no clue why this would be happening, can anyone help me troubleshoot? (Nobody has left the organization recently, Nobody is messing with my projects or settings, We tried going to Asana customer support and it did not solve the problem)

Hi @Moey_Newbold1, that is an odd one… Does the project show up in the list on the left-hand side of your screen? Maybe if you click the carrot next to projects and select recent?

Thanks for responding! No, it doesnt show up in recent projects. Also, when I search for projects that were created by me or owned by me, it doesnt come up (even though that popup clearly shows it was added by me yesterday)

This may be a bug… @ambforumleader does anyone else have thoughts on this?

Very weird, might be a bug, you can write to Asana support, they reply in 24-48hrs. Here’s the email: support@support.asana.com

This is incorrect; Asana does not have any email-based support, and it can take longer than 48 hours for a reply.

This is the correct way to contact Asana support:
