So I used to use the x@mail.asana.com feature regularly to send tasks to myself and teammates from my email. However, recently it has stopped working for me and I get this error message:
We couldn’t process your email because it was sent by gmail, but your email domain is xxxxxx.
Please contact your email admin to update your mail server’s email settings.
I have used this feature in the past without issue at all from my POP account. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks!
There has been a long post by @Marie about this recently but can’t get my hands on it. Maybe @Marie can point you in the right direction.
I’m a consultant and have five different gmail accounts with different organizations. I used to be able to forward emails but, like everyone else, I no longer can. In addition, while I could theoretically futz around with the settings in my own G-Suite product (which I’m loathe to do because I really don’t get that stuff) I can’t do anything with my client’s email accounts. I originally started to use Asana because it offered this feature and I could easily consolidate tasks for all of my clients in one place. At this point, there seems to be no advantage to using Asana over any other product. So I’ll be returning to Outlook tasks. If I have to copy and paste in any event, may as well at least have the more user-friendly format.
