Why can't my colleagues see the Templates I added to our organization?

Hi there,
I’ve created several templates and added them to our organizational list of templates. I can see them there clearly when I create a new project, but one of my colleagues cannot - any ideas why?

Hi @Ayelet_Ritchie,
Welcome to the Asana Community Forum!
Please have a look at this post on how to give access to someone else to your template

Thanks @Soumyadeep_Mandal but this doesn’t resolve it.

Hi @Ayelet_Ritchie,
Have you given “Edit rights” to your colleagues? You have to open the template then click on the “Share button” at the top of your template. From there you’ll be able to set permissions for individuals or entire teams.

Either your colleagues are project members of the template, or they are team members on the team hosting the template and the template itself is not private. OR the team is itself public and your colleague are indeed full members and not guests.
Hope that helps, in addition to what @Soumyadeep_Mandal said.

Please which of these solutions work? Because I’ve also been having the same issue and I don’t know how to go about.

We had similar issues with one of the members on our paid company account. None of these answers nor any other explanation on the forum helped because the member was never a guest member.

Anyways, for anyone who sees this in the future, go to your admin settings, go to members, check to see if that member is a “Limited access member”, and update them to a “Member” which will give them access to all functionalities. (this is as of June 5th, 2023)

@Anas_Raza_Firdousi I believe this only happens when you work in a Workspace, instead of an Org, which is quite I believe. But thanks for sharing!
