I’m having some trouble fully utilizing the My Tasks area with custom sections. So far, I’ve created several custom sections with which I wish to further sort my tasks. However, unlike when in a Project, there is no ‘Sort within Sections’ toggle on the ‘Sort’ drop down menu in My Tasks. Is this a bug I’m experiencing or is it not a feature? It is explicitly mentioned as a feature in the Asana help guide.

You are probably seeing this mention in the Asana Guide because a new version of My Tasks is being deployed as we speak. Please read up on what to expect in this post: Meet your new My Tasks
It seems like what you are trying to achieve will be possible in the near future!
