Upgrading from Premium to Business

Not sure where this query goes but I’m working on two workgroups and one workgroup is already on Premium. We want to add another workgroup and have that on Business plan with somewhat the same set of users from the other workgroup on Premium.

Question is, do I need to pay double for my set under Premium workgroup and another seat for the workgroup on Business? Or does the bill carry over from Premium to Business?


The best recommendation is for you to contact sales@asana.com to have them describe the options because it gets complicated.

But I believe in your example, yes, you would be charged for one Premium seat and one Business seat. But your groups may be siloed.

I’m not sure whether you have a Team or Division setup currently but Sales would be your best bet.
