Is there a way to easily undo marking a task as completed? At least a 10 second undo would be useful. Thanks
Is there still no option to undo or undelete a task other than the window at the bottom left corner when that pops up?? Being able to locate those items that may have accidentally been deleted would be extremely helpful.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS!!! There needs to be a ctrl-z feature. I just accidentally sorted by a column which screwed up the priorities order I set for the TO DOs and, guess what, there is no way back without reprioritizing everything. These are the things that make me desperately miss Jira (of all things).

Not in my Asana. Are there different versions, or have they removed this?
If I had a choice, I would quit using Asana right now just for this one reason. It is so easy to lose a lot of work. The risk is just too high.
Unfortunately one of my clients currently prefers Asana.

Status updated to Considered. Being transparent, the power of Asana’s automations (with or without AI studio) complicates the feasibility and reliability of a global undo functionality.
As a competitive example: Smartsheet does in fact offer undo functionality. But their undo only reverses the most immediate change to a field (or similar), but it does not reverse or stop any automations triggered by that original change. We believe this is not an intuitive or ideal user experience - especially for more passive users unaware of how their intentional or accidental project changes impact automations.
We have however prioritized investigating the feasibility and user experience impacts in our upcoming half. Note: Though we are investigating how this may work in Asana, it does not mean we are committing to shipping undo functionality at this time.

I wish there was a back button or undo button for accidentally deleting something in notes! Does anyone have a work around?

It seems a bit perverse that something like this is not available yet - please just do it. Someone has accidentally deleted the title of a task, and there is no way to get it back! Surely this is a basic feature (leaving aside the fact that it’s way too easy to change the basic task information such as the title)? I’m having to create my own “undo” using automations!
@Mary_Beth_Meadows For Notes specifically, reliable undo/redo and some form of “Restore version” is prioritized and nearing development!

Also beyond Notes, following up on my August post: the incredible @Ankur_Kumar1 on my team has been pushing this forward. While I hear you all that we’re behind on this, we’re actively working on it! Ankur has well over 20 undo unique scenarios (each with dozens of stories he’s currently helping me work through getting prioritized).

Just renamed a few sections in a Project, realized I did in fact want the original names, and there’s no way to undo it or see what they were before!

I just needed this…
Bulk edited a custom field for a bunch of tasks in a template instead of the specific one I wanted to edit.
Now I need to correct them all one by one…
And I’m glad I converted a project into a template so that I still have a reference.

Can you please create “undo” and “redo” buttons? When building a new project, forms or workflows it would be very helpful to be able to undo an action that was accidental or needs a quick change.
