Trigger rule when task description or comment is changed/edited

I’ve been thinking for a while that there should be a rule like, “When the description is revised or added, contact the relevant parties.”

I recently saw a related post.

Seemingly no way to trigger a rule when task description is changed/edited?

I’m trying to create a rule that will watch for a task description to be updated and then copy the revised description to a subtask. Is that not possible?

I also saw another post that said, “When a comment is added.”

This seems difficult because the rule trigger does not have any options related to the task description.

In fact, in the case of comments, there is a trigger for adding a comment, but there is no trigger for changing the comment.

Hi @ka_nishiyama , indeed there is no trigger when comment is edited. For that (rare?) case, I would add a manual trigger to the rule, to be used after a comment has been edited.
