I’ve created a template, when I start a new project and choose that template, it will load up, but it don’t show the dependencies column I have saved in the template. If I refresh the page, then it does show up.
Likewise, the views at the top, I’ve removed some and added some, but they always default back to the original.
How do I get all of this locked into the template and actually use it as a template?
@Jon_Glendinning - two separate things here: dependency column and project views.
Dependency column: this is a standard “field” that you should be able to show/hide in your project template (go to the customize menu and toggle on/off Dependencies).
This is unfortunately not possible, consider giving this thread a vote.
I did #1 already, still isn’t working, unless I refresh the page. For example, I start a new project, pick my template, it loads up without the discrepancies, I refresh the page, and discrepancies shows up. Why isn’t it showing up with the initial load?
@Jon_Glendinning - it could just be that templates often take some time to spin up (some of our bigger ones take ~3 min) and need a refresh when they’re done fully setting up. Is the refresh causing you a ton of issues?
If either of you can reproduce the need for a refresh after project-from-template instantiation, I think you should report that as a bug to Support: How to contact our Support Team.
