Hi, My team has a premium account of 5 people. We are interested in having 5 more team members have access to our projects with limited access to be able to comment and collaborate on certain tasks. I do not want to have to pay for the other 5 members to have full access when they don’t need it. Does anyone know a cost affective way to add these 5 extra limited access team members?
If I am not mistaken they can be members without a Premium seat, they will access the project but won’t be able to do timelines, add custom fields etc. @Marie can you confirm?
Hi @elizabeth2 and thanks for the mention @Bastien_Siebman.
I would highly recommend reaching out directly to our Sales Team as the answer of your question will be different depending on your current premium plan and the status of users you want to give access to these projects!
Generally speaking, remember than Guests can be added for free, while Limited Access Members will automatically count toward your premium plan. You can learn more about the differences between Guest and Limites Access Members in this article from our Guide. And you can either chat with our sales team in the corner of this page, or write into them following this handy link: Contact our Sales Team • Asana.
Apologies for not being able to help you furher via the Forum; let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with!
I have been in contact with the sales team, but they are not being very responsive. They let me know that I might have to add them to our premium account, but when I follow up with more questions. They do not respond.
Is there a phone number I can call maybe?
I have a premium account, and I am trying to add them as guests. However I am unable to as they have a corporate email account. If I add them as an LAM will it be cheaper? If so how much?
Please let me know, and thank you for your help.
Thanks,
E
Apologies for the disconnection @elizabeth2, I’ve liaised with our Sales Team and can confirm they have received your query and will be in touch asap to answer your follow-up questions!
In the meantime, here are some answers that might help: if your colleagues are sharing the same email domain than you, they cannot be added as Guests I’m afraid. As mentioned in this article, only members with a different domain are considered as Guests (Working with guests in an organization • Asana Product Guide). Limited Access Members are full organization members (= they share the same domain than you) and are billed on the same basis than regular users.
Our Sales Team will be in touch soon with a more tailored answer, but hopefully this starts to answer your questions! Let me know if there is anything else I can help with
Yes I understand I cannot add them as guests because they have the same domain. My questions is will it be cheaper if they are LAM?
Additionally, I want to confirm there is no more cost affective way to add their accounts and allow them access to our projects other than adding them as a full member? There is no way we can add them with limited access.
Thanks for the quick follow-up. I can confirm that LAM users are billed on the same basis than full members, as it stands, we do not have a separate pricing plan for them.
If you have a subdomain for these users, you could potentially add them for free with this subdomain; that’s the only workaround I can think of now; but our Sales Team might have an alternative solution for you! Keep an eye on your emails, theu should get in touch with you later on today!
Interesting, a subdomain I am assuming we would have to create internally?
Hello! This is a test
The test is a success. I repeat, the test is a success.
