I place tasks for a project in the project page, but they don’t show up on My Tasks.

Just by discarding the option…
Have you assigned the task to yourself?
If you do not assign the task to yourself, the task will not appear in the “My Tasks” section

I am having this experience as well. Created a new project yesterday and am assigning myself to tasks; however, the tasks for these projects are not displaying in ‘My Projects’ regardless if I have set a due date or not.
thanks @JMartinez your solution worked for me! Is there a way to make all tasks default to be assigned to myself? One person company I wear a lot of hats. Thanks
If you are on a Premium plan @Chance_Devlin you can set a rule to assign any new tasks to yourself.
