Items make in Projects not showing up in Task Calendar View

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
When I add a Due Date to an item in my Projects, that task does not show up in the calendar view of My Tasks. I can add items Due on a certain date in the calendar view of My Tasks, and that item shows up in my Projects with the correct due date; It just doesn’t work the other way around!

Steps to reproduce:
Stare frustrated at my screen. Restart and update Asana. Repeatedly make new tasks with due dates in every iteration I can think of. Continue to stare frustrated.

What version of Asana are you using (Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise)?

Hi @Jenn_Bossio , in order for these tasks to show up in your My Tasks (List, Calendar etc) you need to assign them to yourself when creating the tasks in a project.

It works the other way around because whatever tasks you create in your My Tasks are automatically assigned to you.

Since this is not a bug, I’m moving it to the Tips and Tricks section :wink:
