Tasks duplicating when deleting them

Hi,

My tasks are duplicating when I delete them and I triple-checked if I had a custom rule set up. I don’t see anything. I’ve never felt so proud to select “complete” to only see the same task show up again

Here’s an example of two tasks that keep get regenerated:

It’s not clear whether you’re deleting tasks or marking them complete.

If the latter, any chance the due date of the task is set up as a recurring task?

If not, is the task multi-homed and did you check other projects for rules? Or is the task assigned to someone and did you check that person’s My Tasks rules?

Ahh that’s it! I somehow had set these 2 to a recurring task. I should have thought of this, but sometimes the most simple thing is missed. That’s what the forum is for… objective views
