Tasks disappear from search results after duplicating a task

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with Asana search:

  1. When I duplicate a task, the duplicated task disappears when I try to search for it. The original task I created is also not displayed in the search results.
  2. I’ve already logged out, cleared the cache, and logged back in, but the issue persists.
  3. The search results do not seem to display tasks that I have created, including newly created or duplicated tasks.

Has anyone experienced the same issue or found a solution?

I just attempted to replicate this and it’s behaving as expected for me.

I did an advanced search for tasks assigned to me. In the search results, I found a “test” task and duplicated it.

It did not remove that “test” task from the results; I couldn’t reproduce that behavior you saw.

I didn’t expect the new “duplicate of test” task to appear immediately because I know there’s a short delay with searh results. I waited perhaps 30 seconds, refreshed, and the new task was there.
