Task Editing Restrictions

Restricts editing of tasks to prevent changes to deadlines, editing of descriptions, etc.
There are three types available:

1. None (current state)
2. Only comments allowed
3. Fully locked

Lock Due Date

Hi, I’ve seen this topic come up in Tips and Tricks but not in the product feedback forum so I’m bringing it here, please combine with another thread if it already exists. It would be great to be able to assign a task and lock a due date. This is essential for hard deadlines (ie filing deadlines with courts or the US Patent and Trademark Office) which absolutely cannot be adjusted.

Lock Due Date of Milestones

“If you move the task at a later date, the milestones you depend on will move automatically.” (When “Avoid dependency conflict” is turned on in the project settings) By default, “Milestone” should be set so that it does not move automatically. Save button after modifying description in browser

When you edit a task description (not a new one) on a smartphone (Android in my case), if you do not press the save button, the previous edits will be canceled. I would like to be able to set the save button to be pressed after editing the description on the PC browser version as well. (There are times when I think it’s good to be able to easily edit the description, but there are many times when I think it’s better not to be able to edit the description easily.) Our team has several processes in which the time in between a specific task and milestone does not change.
