@Aron_Berger I learned a few weeks ago that notifications for dependencies are not generated if you are the assignee of both the tasks. Maybe that’s what’s happened in your case resulting in no notification generation?
This is not mentioned in the documentation, but I’d certainly prefer to see the feature changed to allow an Asana user to use dependencies as documented now; that is, don’t prevent notifications just because the assignee is the one completing the dependent task; that’s why we set up the dependency!
