Dependency notifications in Slack don't work as expected

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:

If a user completes a task that has a dependency, the assignee of the dependency doesn’t get a Slack notification.

If a user sets a dependency that was previously completed as incpmplete, the assignee of the dependency gets a Slack notification like this:

$user marked a task this task is dependent on incomplete.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Set up Asana Slack integration
  2. Create tasks with dependencies
  3. Complete the tasks, and observe the notifications in Asana Inbox but not in Slack

Browser version:

Google Chrome 73.0.3683.103 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hi @Tom_Salmon,

In order to receive a notification when a dependency is uncompleted you need to have your Personal Notifications turned on.

Can you please confirm if you have Personal Notifications on? You can check if they are on or not by typing /asana settings in Slack.

I also want to point it out that personal notifications will not be sent when you are active in Asana.

Please keep me updated about this issue as I want to make sure that it works on your end.
