I have an intake project where all intakes are received. Once they are assigned, it converts that intake into a project that moves to the team’s portfolio. This rule is working. However, a second task generates in the intake board and I cannot find out why. As far as I can tell, I only have one rule set up and that is the conversion one. What is happening??
@Courtney_Venema - It looks like it’s either being generated by another rule you have in the project, or it was an accidental form entry.
Can you check to see if you have any other rules in the project?
The shot I attached above is the only rule I can see. The randomly generated task is showing this at the bottom as the rule it’s being created from, but this should be the rule that is creating the project conversion.
Curious… 
When you assign the task, at the left bottom of the screen, do you see the rule only being fired once?
I actually figured it out. I was only looking at the workflow tab, which showed my conversion rule. But completely forgot to look at the customization section that shows the list of all rules attached to the board. I had a random rule that must have been left behind when i was testing things. Crisis averted
