I am new to Asana but am very interested in the Asana/Salesforce integration. We have this all installed and setup and I realize I can “see” Asana projects and tasks within the SF app/widget, but these are still not native Salesforce tasks that many of my users are accustomed to. Have others ever experienced this as a shortcoming and tried to address this with some form of automation? I tried looking into Zapier, but their integration has to be built one by one every single time a project is created, making it a bit unusuable.
This thread seemed to bring this up previously too:
Yes, this is a common challenge with the Asana/Salesforce integration since Asana tasks are not treated as native Salesforce tasks. To address this, you can set up an automation that syncs Asana tasks to Salesforce tasks, keeping both systems in alignment. While Zapier can work, it requires manual setup for each new project, which is time-consuming.
For a more scalable solution, consider using Skyvia, which allows you to automate the synchronization between Asana and Salesforce in bulk, ensuring tasks are updated across both platforms without manual intervention.
