Subtasks do not show up in 'My Tasks'

I’ve seen others post about this before and Asana has mentioned it’s indeed not a bug that when subtasks are assigned to you under a main task, they do not show up in ‘My Tasks’. This is a huge issue, especially when working in large teams and for those who may not even see they were assigned a task because they were never notified!!! Anyone have any idea if this fix is in the works? It’s extremely important for product launches where individuals are assigned a task under a main task but never even know they have to get it done. Any help or work arounds are greatly appreciated.
