We are a university communications department just starting to use Asana to plan and track content for a website and a newsletter, both updated daily. A priority is having an editorial calendar where we can see the different dates that a particular story will publish on a website and in a newsletter. I’m still learning, but it appears each project has only one date associated with it? I would really appreciated hearing from someone who has set this up for themselves and how it works. Thanks
If I understand correctly you want the same task to display several dates? This is possible with custom fields, but the dates stored in fields won’t be used for calendars or timelines.
We have a very big content factory ourselves. Each piece of content is a task and each channel we publish on is a subtask. This way they can have different dates.
