We’ve gotten some feedback internally that the text fields default text is confusing under My Settings > Profile.
New users to Asana tend to think that the text in the About Me and Pronouns are already assigned to their profile and that they can’t change the text. They have some confusion about how to remove the text at first glance when they click into the section. Only to “get it” when we tell them to enter something into the field and the example text will clear. We also have to clarify that the text they see is not public to anyone else until they enter in something else.
Either having the text auto-clear on click or not have anything in those fields as example text would be preferred.
