it doesn’t make sense to pay for Asana accounts for each of them when they just need to be able to access a live calendar for reference

Yes I discontinued the project because of not enough interest from the community

You currently have 3 solutions:

• do an export using something like Asana2Go
• build a dashboard you can share, I listed a couple on The ultimate guide for doing things with Asana
• have someone build a custom dashboard for you ( I can do it)
