Can you actually share project boards publicly?

So I’ve seen a few posts on here about public sharing but they keep going from us asking for the solution, to there being a solution, back to it being discontinued/not mobile friendly/limited/users need to be asana users.

I’m just starting a new thread that is hopefully more current with Asana’s features. If I run a marketing firm, and I use asana boards for each project and I want to share the progress of those projects without forcing my clients to create accounts, learn how to use asana, etc. Can I do it? I just want it to be super intuitive for my clients (they’re often super fussy and don’t want to pick up another tool. Then they just start calling me directly for updates).

Can it actually be done now?

Welcome to the forum, @Jake57! Yes, you can share the projects publicly (depending on your org’s security settings). That said, there is a limitation: no custom fields in preview links –

Thanks for the reply and the welcome @Stephen_Li! Okay, I really do need my custom fields to show up on the board. I see that I can copy a public link to the board but it still forces people to log into Asana. I can’t seem to find out where to adjust the org settings for this. Is this something only available on the Asana Enterprise plan?

If possible, can I put the board behind a simple password/secure phrase? My clients wouldn’t need to make accounts and the information would still be protected.
