[Screenful] Creating reports using Asana's Actual time field

Do you find Asana’s built-in time tracking reports too limiting? I just wanted to let you know that Screenful now supports the Estimated time and Actual time fields, and you can create charts and reports using data in those fields.

If you have enabled time tracking on any of your Asana projects, the Estimated time and Actual time will be automatically imported and made available for Screenful charts. You can create charts based on time tracking data in the same way you create charts based on task data. You have all the same grouping and filtering options available.

  • Create time tracking reports across all of your projects
  • Group and filter charts by who logged time
  • See how much time was logged by individual by task
  • Schedule reports to email or Slack

Great work! Thanks for sharing this. I know the reporting on Asana Timesheets is still missing many features and this helps to bridge that gap.
Would your report be able to to give a timesheet for a person in a spesific date range and filteded to a spesisfic project or portfolio?

@Paul_Grobler yes, when can create a Task list and select Actual time (within date range) from the menu, a date range menu appears and allows you to specify the time period:

Once you have selected the range, the Actual time and Actual time (Time logged by) colums show the total time logged to tasks within the specified date range:

You can use the filter feature to further narrow the list to selected individuals, projects or portfolios.
