Rule to send email to custom Field

Hi, I’m trying to set a rule for our hiring process that automatically send the rejection email to the candidates personal email which I have set as a custom field. When testing I keep getting an error to provide a valid email address.

Does anybody have a fix for this?

Can you try removing the variable you have added in the ‘Reply to’ box. It appears to be a people field, which might be the issue.

And make sure the ‘To’ box contains the email address of the person you want Asana to send the email to. Is the field ‘Personal Email’ a text field that purely contains an email address?
