Rule for Due Date Changes

Hello everyone,
I am on the Starter plan.

I want to create a rule that when someone changes the due date, the automation leaves a comment on the task to notify task owner and collaborators about the change.

The rule works but the issue is known - it also triggers when users set the first ever due date as discussed Rules - Due Date Change triggering for first Due date Change

How can I trigger the rule, please ONLY when the due date when it is changed NOT when its first added.

I thought the due date “is not empty” condition would help but that is not the case:

Hi @Viola_Eva can you try creating one rule that when due date is changed, add the task to another project B.

Then in that project B, have a rule that when Due date is changed, add the comment or whatever action you need.

This is just in theory, haven’t tried it in practice - but please do!
