Restore the Sharepoint option in the Task Sharing menu (new design)

Hello,
The “Sharepoint” option has disappeared in the new interface design when adding a file to a task. It used to say “OneDrive / Sharepoint”.

Is it still possible to add from Sharepoint?
I use the Google suite so I can’t test …

And if so, could Sharepoint be added?

Thanks
Julien

Feels like a translation was changed, but the feature is probably the same…

Hi @Julien_RENAUD and welcome to the forum.

I’ve slightly renamed your Product Feedback title to make it more action oriented.

Don’t forget to cast a vote (top left)

I just tried this and can confirm that when you click on ‘OneDrive’ and you log in, it will redirect to SharePoint once it realises that it is a Microsoft work email account.

It is OneDrive/SharePoint is basically the same thing - OneDrive is for personal Microsoft accounts.

I have moved this into the English Forum > Tips and Tricks category since there isn’t anything to vote on, unless you mean to add the word ‘SharePoint’?

Thank you for the test :+1:

Yes this is what I wanted because the two are different storages and different usages, thus I thought it would be clearer with both (as before)

imho that’s bad UX then because OneDrive and Sharepoint are indeed different things (one for teams, one for personal), and not sure everyone will understand this is the “same”

Yes this is what I meant, thus I moved back the topic to “Product feedback”

I agree, it wouldn’t take that much screen real-estate to reinstate this!

But if I had to pick one of the two, it would be SharePoint, seeing that would be the likely tool for Businesses that Asana is aimed at.
