Repeat a task in a Template project

How can I setup the repetition (repeat) on of a due date for a task in a Template project.
I have tasks in a project which needs to happen bi-weekly on a Friday. At this moment you can create the tasks and provide a due date: Start x days before / after the start of the project. But I want a task be repeated.

Currently with project templates V2 that isn‘t possible unfortunately, see point 10 here
